Nandini is 9 and hails from Sipaul in Bihar. A bright student of classV, she dreams to be a doctor. Nandini has a congenital heart defect that we thought would require heart surgery but after the angioand much deliberation, it was felt that it was too late for surgery. nandini is now back home and rearing to study and beat the odds and become a doctor.

first step to a dream

when nandini left for her home town, we asked her to send us details of what the cost of her education would be. we were pleasantly surprised to receive a well written letter with bills and receipts as well as a photocopy of a post office account in her name. This is what it will cost to help this bright and spunky girl
